What begins as a lecture on the life of the artist’s great great grandfather – a Jewish émigré turned US business man – quickly becomes porous, opening itself to desires that exceed the bounds of the event at hand until a point of radical rupture and transformation from which she cannot return. The artist creates a world where each attempt to articulate reality only makes it stranger and stranger.
